About the office

Al Qabas Public Relation is a clearing agent licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, on the commercial register since September 1995 and based in Manama. It represents companies before seven government authorities under formal authorisation, and administers that relationship continuously rather than in bursts.

How we work

The monthly subscription and the single request

A company operating in the Kingdom needs continuous follow-up of its government transactions: dates that expire, conditions that change, and a workforce ceiling and Bahrainisation rate that shift as headcount changes. These transactions recur throughout the year rather than at one point in it.

Al Qabas therefore works on a monthly subscription alongside single requests. The subscription covers following up renewal dates, reviewing the conditions, filing the transactions, settling their fees and delivering their documents. The tier follows the company's headcount, so it knows its monthly cost in advance.

Anything outside the recurring transactions, such as workforce ceiling increases, violation removal, liquidation and changes of legal form, is studied case by case and quoted in writing before work begins.

Undertakings

What we hold to on every transaction

Speed of follow-up

A number of recurring transactions, such as certain renewals, are completed within one working day once the documents and requirements are in order, where the authority’s own procedure allows it.

Early renewal notice

For subscription clients covered by the follow-up service, a notice is sent sixty days before a registration or permit expires.

Government fees at their official value

Government fees are settled at the value prescribed by the relevant authority, with the official receipts for the transaction provided.

Formal representation

The company is followed up and represented before the relevant authorities under the required formal authorisations and documents.

Limits we keep

What the office does not do

We hold no passports

Documents are received for the transaction alone, then returned to the company with the completed document and its receipt.

We take no margin on government fees

They are settled at the value prescribed by the relevant authority, and the receipt is issued in the company's name.

We promise nothing that is not ours to give

The decision to accept an application rests with the relevant authority. The office undertakes to meet the conditions before filing, and to set out the reason in writing if an application is returned.
